Anybody can download the federal files we build on. What is hard is choosing what matters, checking it is still true, and getting it to you while it is still worth something.

We do not buy data from any supplier, we hold no credit or background-check data, and we collect nothing from consumers. There is no source other than the public records above.
When we say a record is verified, we mean that at the stated time, the federal record showed what we say it showed.
That is a statement about a government filing. It is not a guarantee about the company's actual circumstances. Federal filings post on a delay, and a business can change position between our check and your call. We publish the measured accuracy of our checks, with the sample size, rather than claiming perfection.
We do not publish our selection method. What each product selects for is stated plainly on its page, so you know what you are buying. The filtering itself is our work product. The source files are public and you may obtain them yourself at any time — the selection, verification and currency are the service.
There is no checkout on this site. Every subscription begins with a conversation, so we know who we are supplying and what they intend to do with it. Terms are agreed on a signed order form, and you are invoiced in advance, payable by cheque or bank transfer.
We hold no card on file and take no payment automatically. Payment is due in advance and data is supplied once it clears — we do not supply on credit.
That is slower than a shopping cart, and it is the reason we can say honestly who our data goes to.
